In the title compound, C(8)H(7)N(4)O(4) (+)·Cl(-), the cation possesses twofold symmetry, with the twofold axis bis-ecting the 2-methyl-5,6-dinitro-benzimidazolium cation. The methyl H atoms are disordered about this twofold axis and were assigned equal half-occupancies. The chloride anion also lies on a twofold axis. 1-Methyl-1-propyl­pyrrolidinium chloride

The aymmetric unit of the title compound, C(8)H(18)N(+)·Cl(-), consists of one crystallographically independent 1-methyl-1-propyl-pyrrolidinium cation and one chloride anion, both of which lie in general positions. Minor hydrogen-bonded C-H⋯Cl inter-actions occur. However, no classical hydrogen bonding is observed.

N-Methyl-4-nitro­anilinium chloride

The asymmetric unit of the title salt, C(7)H(9)N(2)O(2) (+)·Cl(-), contains two independent cations and anions. In the crystal, each N-methyl-4-nitro-anilinium cation is linked to two Cl(-) anions via N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. π-π stacking is observed between the benzene rings of adjacent cations [centroid-to-centroid distances = 3.7684 (14) and 3.7917 (7) Å].
